Finishing Touch was founded in 2015 by Brock Johnson, a sole proprietor who, at 20, already had four years of construction and remodeling experience under his belt. Brock was born and raised in Hastings, and now resides there with his wife and children. Growing up, Brock started working for his father, a self-employed carpenter, at an early age. Along side his father, Brock worked on projects such as; decks, door and window replacements, interior trim work installation, basement finishing, and framing of homes and garages. Ten years after starting Finishing Touch and with nearly 30,000 hours experience in the industry, you can trust Brock to provide you with the highest quality of service for all of your projects. -We specialize in drywall installation, drywall finishing, and professional interior and exterior paint work. Along with these services we also handle framing projects, trim/door installations, tile and lvp flooring installations, decks, bathroom remodels, basement finishing, and whole home renovations
How long have you been in business?
Finishing Touch Painting and Handyman Services LLC was created in 2015, in April 2025 the business will be 10 years in!
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, Brock Johnson under the LLC of Finishing Touch Painting and Handyman Services in the state of Minnesota holds a Remodeling Contractors license CR 771554. Finishing Touch is a limited liability company, our insurance protects you and your home from any possible disaster while we work on your home or business. How long will my project take?
Project timelines depend upon several factors such as the scope of work, available materials, unforeseen issues, and if working outdoors, the weather. Finishing Touch is a sole proprietorship, and most projects are done solely by Brock, and on some larger projects he enlists the help of family members and or friends. If quality is what you seek Finishing Touch is an easy option, if you are on a tight timeline and need something done fast, you may want to look into a larger company with multiple crews.
Will my surfaces, furniture, and fixtures be protected?
Yes, our priority is to leave your home in the exact condition as when we arrived. All floors will be covered with drop cloths and or builders paper. Cabinets, counter tops, and furniture will be covered with painters plastic to be protected from paint splatters and dust. All baseboard trim is taped with masking tape to be protected from paint drips. When our work is done we always clean up our work areas by vacuuming dust and wiping off any flat surfaces.
